Mr T.K Jose, a 1988 IAS batch officer of the Kerala cadre, took charge as the Chairman of the Coconut Development Board. He was the Managing Director of the Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala Ltd.
Mr Jose was the person behind the formation and growth of Kudumbashree Mission. As its Executive Director, he started innovative programmes like Ashraya, Bhavanshree, Vidyashree, Balasabha, Clean Kerala Campaign, Clean Destination campaign and numerous micro enterprises.
He has also held various posts of Director, Public Relations Department, Secretary, Local Self Government Department, Secretary, Public Works Department and Managing Director Kerala Books and Publications Society, and was the nodal officer for Cochin Infrastructure Development Projects.
