Copper futures prices rose by 0.25 per cent to Rs 433.25 a kg today, supported by firming trend in the global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, copper delivery for February edged up by Rs 1.10 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 433.25 a kg, with a business turnover of 3,770 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in April traded higher by 90 paise or 0.21 per cent to Rs 436.20 a kg, with a business turnover of 256 lots.
Market analysts said reports of gains in metal at the London Metal Exchange and Shanghai, influenced futures prices here.
