Edible oils market shot up on Monday tracking extended gain in overseas and domestic futures amid higher demand for building up new inventory by stockists. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, imported palmolein and soyabean refined oil rose by ₹13 and ₹12/10 kg each while groundnut and cotton oil gained ₹15 and ₹8.Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹502 JNPT and ₹504-505, super palmolein ₹535 and soyabean refined oil ₹588. Ruchi traded palmolein at ₹502, soyabean refined oil ₹587-589 and sunflower refined oil ₹630. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹510, super palmolein ₹530, soyabean refined oil ₹587. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was up ₹15 to ₹1,595 and loose (10 kg) by ₹10 to ₹1,040.
