Spot rubber continued to remain unchanged on Friday. RSS-4 was quoted steady at ₹133 and ₹132.50 a kg, respectively by traders and the Rubber Board. The market was totally inactive during late trading hours owing to floods. RSS-4 declined at its September futures to ₹132.80 (134.45) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS-3 (spot) firmed up to ₹103.87 (102.97) at Bangkok. Its August futures improved to ₹101.49 (100.73) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 133 (133); RSS-5: 131 (131); ISNR 20: 129 (129) and Latex (60% drc): 91 (91).
