Groundnut oil moved up on the back of tight supply from mills. Moreover, delay in monsoon also supported the price to improve. Cotton oil traded flat on normal buying. Traders said that groundnut oil prices moved up further due to restricted selling from oil mills.
Delay in onset of monsoon turned market sentiment bullish. Groundnut oil loose gained ₹20 to ₹945-950 per 10 kg. Jamnagar line telia was up ₹30 to ₹1,465-66 per 15 kg and groundnut oil new tin was higher by ₹10 to ₹1,645-50 per 15 kg. About 2-3 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills.
Washed cotton oil was flat at ₹600-603 per 10 kg and cotton oil new tin was ₹1,040-60 per 15 kg. About 25 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
