Edible oils market ruled firm on expectation of import duty hike amid firm futures. On the BCE, palmolein and cotton refined oil rose by ₹5 per 10 kg each. Soya oil gained ₹2. Others were steady. During the day Allana and Golden agri both sold about 650 – 700 tonnes palmolein at ₹648-650 for March. Resellers sold about 450 – 500 tonnes palmolein at ₹638-642 for February. Demand for other oils was missing.
Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹665 for 10 March. Super palmolein ₹690 for 10 March and Sunflower refined oil ₹730 for 10 March.
Allana: Palmolein Ex Khapoli ₹660 for March. Soya refined oil ₹745 for March. Sunflower refined oil ₹740 for March.
Ruchi: Soya oil ₹730 for February and Sunflower refi.oil ₹723 for February.
Golden agri : Palmolein ₹648 for 1-15 March.
At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was flat at ₹1,320 and loose (10 kg) was ₹830 (₹825).
