Spot rubber finished lower on Friday. RSS-4 slid to ₹132 (132.50) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. Declines in the global markets and the absence of domestic buyers kept the commodity under pressure. RSS-4 improved at its September futures to ₹132.89 (131.64) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS-3 (spot) weakened to ₹103.49 (104.11) at Bangkok. Its September futures declined to ₹98.22 (99.51) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 132 (132.50); RSS-5: 129 (130); ISNR 20: 129 (130) and Latex (60% drc): 105.50 (108.50).
