In sale no 9, the quantity on offer in CTC grades was 8,39,500 kg.

In Cochin CTC dust quotation, good varieties fetched ₹119-153 a kg, mediums quoted ₹96-135 and plain grades stood at ₹77-103.
In the leaf category, the market for Nilgiri brokens and Fannings in orthodox grades was steady to firm and sometimes dearer following quality.
The quantity on offer was 149,000 kg.
The CTC leaf witnessed a better demand and the market was dearer by ₹2-3 a kg.
The quantity on offer was 45,500 kg.
