Sluggish trend in chana and other pulse seeds continued on weak demand at the mandis in Indore. Chana (kanta) declined to ₹3,950 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹3,850. Chana dal (average) too was low at ₹4,750-4,850, chana dal (medium) at ₹4,950-5,050, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,150-5,250 a quintal respectively. Amid slack and subdued demand, dollar chana ruled flat at ₹5,000-5,500. Weak export demand dragged dollar chana (44/46 count) to ₹6,100-6,150, while 58/60 count fetched ₹5,350-5,400 a quintal.
