Spot rubber finished firm on Wednesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹121.50 (121) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board while the remaining counters finished unchanged amidst extremely low volumes. In futures, the May contracts concluded at ₹121.81 (121.65), June to ₹125.85 (125.79) and July to ₹128.20 (128.24) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹117.71 (117.84)at Bangkok. May futures weakened to ₹109.60 (110.23) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 121.50 (121); RSS-5: 119 (119); ISNR 20: 115 (115) and Latex (60% drc): 85.50 (85.50).
