Domestic rubber prices made further gains on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹129 (₹128) and ₹126 (₹125) a kg, respectively according to the Rubber Board and the Dealers. The grade firmed up to ₹130 (₹128) as quoted by the traders. The volumes continued to be low.

June futures improved to ₹129 (₹128.62), July to ₹134.99 (₹133.58) and August to ₹135.75 (₹134.52) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) increased to ₹121.77 (₹121.10) at Bangkok. June futures closed at ¥230.8 (₹118.13) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 130 (128); RSS-5: 127 (126); Ungraded: 119 (118); ISNR 20: 119 (116) and Latex (60% drc): 116 (114).
