The Railway Minister has also announced various positive initiatives in the Budget , including a number of infrastructure and logistics initiatives like the completion of four dedicated freight corridors this year, together with the establishment of a Transport Development Corporation of India for providing end-to-end logistics solutions through public–private partnerships.
Welcoming the announcements, Anshuman Magazine said “The Rail Budget also announced setting up 35 multi-modal logistics depots and re-vamping 10 existing logistics centres.”
