The price of subsidised Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders has been hiked by ₹2.94 a cylinder from ₹502.40 a cylinder in October. The retail price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi will now be ₹505.34 from November.
The price of a non-subsidised LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) in Delhi will increase by ₹60.00 per cylinder. An IndianOil statement said the hike is mainly due to change in international price and foreign exchange fluctuations. The cylinder price increase for domestic LPG customers which is due to Goods and Services Tax levy on the above.
