Exim Bank has paid ₹433 crore to the Centre towards balance of net profit transferred to the central exchequer for 2014-15. The RTGS receipt for this amount was handed over to the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley by Exim Bank’s Chairman and Managing Director Yaduvendra Mathur at North Block in the Capital. For the financial year 2014-15, Exim Bank had reported a net profit of ₹726 crore. In the last five years, Exim Bank – which is wholly owned by the Union government – had transferred ₹1,425 crore as balance of net profit to the Centre.
