Tirupur Exporters' Association has criticised the steep hike in petrol prices and has appealed for a rollback of the hike.
The TEA President, Mr A. Sakthivel, in a statement noted with concern that this steepest-ever hike in petrol price would affect the common man.
The Government has been increasing the fuel price at regular intervals. But the latest is pretty steep. The common man cannot withstand the huge increase. It should therefore be rolled back immediately, he said.
