The Coimbatore branch of MSME Development Institute in association with Coimbatore SIDCO Industrial Estate Manufacturers' Welfare Association (COSIEMA) is organising a three-day MSME Expo 2016-cum-National Vendor Development Programme between December 14 and 16.
The event is to be held at Sree Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.
Coir Board Chairman C P Radhakrishnan is to inaugurate the event.
The programme is being organised to sensitise the entrepreneurs about the Central Public Procurement Policy for MSMEs, create an opportunity to register them as vendors with public sector undertakings/government departments and thereby enhance the participation in procurement of such undertakings/ department, said M Palanivel, Deputy Director (in-charge) of the MSME Development Institute.
The event is also expected to provide the participants an opportunity to exchange expertise and technology on a common platform and share their competence for mutual benefit, he said.
