The Annual Plan for Chhattisgarh for the year 2012-13 was finalised at Rs 23,480 crore on Thursday, following a meeting between the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia and the State Chief Minister, Dr Raman Singh. Dr Singh said that during 12th Plan period, the State would be following a policy of faster and more inclusive growth with a 10 per cent target. Higher investments would be made in agriculture to improve productivity and income. Social sector spending would be further enhanced to reduce disparity inhuman development indicators and achieve millennium development goals, he added.
