The Rajasthan Government has announced that commonly used veterinary drugs would be available free of cost in Government clinics and hospitals across the State.
The Chief Minister, Mr Ashok Gehlot, directed officials to execute this announcement which was made during the Budget from August 15 this year.
Under the scheme, 87 types of generic veterinary drugs would be made available at polyclinics and district level veterinary hospitals, 75 types of drugs at Tehsil level hospitals whereas Gram Panchayat level sub-centres will have 35 kinds of drugs with an estimated overall cost of Rs 60 crore, according to an official.
