The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with the Federation of Indian Export Organisation, is organising a one-day seminar on “INCOTERMS 2010 rules and foreign trade policy incentive schemes” on Friday at Hotel Abad Plaza.

INCOTERMS are global rules developed by the ICCI on costs, risks and responsibilities of buyers and sellers, and followed by companies involved in goods transportation. It has become the standard in International Business Rules setting.

The revised INCOTERMS 2010 were launched in September 2010 and made effective from January 1, 2011. The other topic of centre would be Foreign Trade Policy incentive schemes to enable exporters to become more competitive in the international market.
