The Human Resources Development Minister, Mr Kapil Sibal, on Friday laid the foundation stone for Indian Institute of Management (IIM) to be set up on 20 acres here at a cost of Rs 800 crore.
The function was attended by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, and the former Chief Minister, Mr N.D. Tiwari.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Nishank said Uttarakhand was proud to be chosen for the institute and it would help the State in touching new heights in the field of education.
