M*Modal, a provider of clinical documentation and speech understanding solutions, has announced the expansion of its operations. The company has set up a new medical transcription centre in Mysore.

M*Modal plans to grow its presence in the city by creating 100 new jobs over the next two years in areas such as clinical transcription, quality assurance and other support functions.

Located at Udaya Ravi Road in Kuvempunagar, the new centre is spread across 5,400 square feet.

According to Dinesh Kumar, Managing Director India, M*Modal, “The inauguration of our new facility in Mysore demonstrates our strong commitment to this city. We foresee the Mysore centre playing a crucial role in our transcription delivery strategy and we are confident the city’s skilled manpower capabilities will facilitate the needs of this trend.”

“Medical transcription is a nascent market in Mysore and with this new centre we hope to develop interest amongst the local talent by providing strong career opportunities — combined with the best training tools — for aspiring candidates who want to make medical transcription a preferred career,” he said.
