rideIT Technology Solutions, a car-pooling solution for corporates, has won the Best Startup (Consumer Solutions category), early stage) award from the Hyderabad Software Exporters’ Association (HYSEA).

In the enterprise solutions category (early stage), Keka has won the Best Startup award for its human resources and payroll platform. While Meraevents has been adjudged the Best Startup (enterprise, late stage) prize, Volunteer.Media has won the Best Software product award.

E S L Narasimhan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, has presented the awards to the representatives of the firm here on Thursday.

They have been selected from a list of finalists at the HYSEA’s Annual Summit and Awards 2015 meet held here on Thursday. The two-day event showcased the fledgling software products and services firms. The forum discussed the changing technology landscape and opportunities being unfolded in the areas of Internet of Things and cloud-based solutions.

IT major Infosys has won the Best Technology Innovation (non product segment), introduced this year, for its Artificial Intelligence Robot platform.

Polaris Consulting and Services Ltd President and Chief Client Officer Kedarnath Udiyavar has won the HYSEA recognition for his contribution to the industry, while L V Prasad Eye Institute’s Ramam Atmakuri received the outstanding contribution to the industry award.

CA (India) Technologies and HSBC Software Development (India) have bagged the Top Exporter (Rs 100-500 cr category) award. Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Wipro have won the Top Exporters’ awards.
