Grocery shop owners registered with Walmart India’s ‘Best Price’ wholesale stores will now be able to pay for their purchases using digital wallet PhonePe. PhonePe has entered into a partnership with Walmart India to enable its more than 1 million Best Price members, mainly kiranas , draw funds from their bank accounts using UPI, the companies said in a statement. PhonePe is part of Flipkart, in which Walmart holds a majority stake. Walmart India owns and operates 23 Best Price stores across nine States.
