Avendus Capital has appointed Puneet Renjhen as executive director, Investment Banking, as the financial services firm aims to focus on bigger and multi-dimensional transactions. Renjhen, till recently worked with Standard Chartered and prior to that was with Citigroup, Kotak and Lazard in Investment Banking across London, Singapore, Mumbai and Delhi.
“As our brand grows we are finding an increasing number of opportunities to work on larger and more complex transactions. These need single-minded focus and longer sales cycles. Renjhen will be working across sectors in collaboration with the sector leads to focus on larger transactions and on requirements of conglomerates,” Gaurav Deepak, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking, at Avendus Capital said in a statement.
