The wholesale gur (jaggery) prices remained steady in the national capital on Saturday as prices by and large hovered in a tight range in restricted activity and settled at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled at previous closing levels in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Marketmen said small buying support along with adequate stocks position, mainly kept gur prices at last levels.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal: Gur chakku 2,600-2,700, pedi 2,700-2,800, dhayya 2,900-3,000 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,250-2,300, chakku 2,300-2,650 khurpa 2,400-2,450 and Ladoo 2,550-2,650.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,450 and dhayya 2,500-2,550.
