Dull conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices moving in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile activity and settled around their previous closing.
Marketmen said sluggish demand and sufficient position of stocks largely kept the prices unmoved.
Meanwhile, Muzuffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market too remained steady in restricted activity.
Following are the quotations in Rs per quintal:
Chakku 2,700-2,800, pedi 2,900-3,000, Dhayya 3,100-3,200 and Shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 2,200-2,300, chakku 2,325-2,500 and Khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,650-2,700 and Dhaya Rs N\A.
