Metals prices firmed up further on the non-ferrous metal market on Thursday on hectic stockists buying as well as industrial support amidst rising global cues. Nickel and copper scrap heavy both rose by Rs 5 a kg each to Rs 1,335 and Rs 464. Copper cable scrap, copper armature, copper wire bar and copper sheet cutting all gained by Rs 4 a kg each to Rs 474, Rs 456, Rs 502 and Rs 450 respectively. Copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 429. Brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc inched up by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 317, Rs 324, Rs 109 and Rs 131.
