Edible oils were mixed in thin activities on Wednesday, tracking volatility in the futures market amid slack demand. Groundnut oil rose by ₹10, soyabean and sunflower oil increased by ₹5 for 10 kg each. Palmolein and cotton oil declined by ₹4 and ₹5 each. Stockists have bought enough quantity in advance and hence, kept away from fresh bets. Hopes of higher demand kept the morale positive.
