Pepper prices witnessed a mixed trend on Wednesday with the futures contracts on the regional commodity exchange moving up and the spot prices ruling steady on limited activities. On the IPSTA platform, December and January contracts moved up by ₹1,000 and ₹800 a quintal respectively to ₹67,500 and ₹62,500. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹69,800 (ungarbled) and ₹72,800 (garbled). Export prices were steady at around $11,400 a tonne.
