In restricted activity, moong and its dal prices fell by up to Rs 500 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today due to sluggish demand.
Traders said sluggish demand at the prevailing higher levels against adequate stocks position mainly put pressure on moong and its dal prices.
In the national capital, moong shed Rs 500 to Rs 4,000-5,000, while its dal chilka local fell by Rs 400 to Rs 5,000-5,400. Similarly, dhoya local and best quality lost Rs 400 each to Rs 5,300-5,500 and Rs 5,900-6,100 per quintal, respectively.

Urad 4,050-4,450, Urad chilka (local) 4,950-5,350, best 5,450-5,950, Dhoya 5,500-5,600, Moong 4,000-5,000, Dal moong chilka local 5,000-5,400, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,500 and best quality 5,900-6,100.
Masoor small 3,050-3,250, bold 3,200-3,450, Dal Masoor local 3,600-3,700, best quality 3,900-4,200, Malka local 3,600-3,650, best 3,750-3,850, Moth 2,200-2,500, Arhar 3,450-3,950 and dal arhar dara 5,000-5,400.
Gram 2,225-2,250, gram dal (local) 2,500-2,515, best quality 2,600-2,700, besan (35 kg), Shakti bhog 1,190, Rajdhani 1,190, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,400-3,800, China 3,500-4,000, red 3,650-3,750, kabli gram small 4,500-6,000, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, lobia 4,500-5,000, peas white 2,050-2,150 and green 2,200-2,400.
