Spot pepper prices remained unchanged on Tuesday despite squeeze in supply. There was some selling pressure in the market as those holding small quantity are selling to meet the Onam festival expenses.
Today, only six tonnes of pepper arrived and were traded at ₹705-710 a kg. Export prices moved up marginally to $12,550 a tonne c&f for Europe and $12,800 for the US.
