Prices of sugar, wheat and sooji declined, while urad dal moved up at the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review. All other commodities ruled steady.
Urad dal opened the week on Monday at the previous week’s rate of Rs 6,200 and traded at the same level till Friday. However, it later gained Rs 200 per quintal to close at Rs 6,400 today.
Sooji (90 kg) declined by Rs 100 to Rs 1,800. Sugar fell from Rs 2,780 to 2,750. Wheat prices were down by Rs 50 to Rs 1,850.
Tur dal (6,600), moong dal (6,800), gram dal (2,900) and maida (1,700) prices remained unchanged.
