The downtrend in chana and other pulse seeds continued on weak demand in pulses from the millers with chana (kanta)quoted at ₹4,300 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹4,350 and chana (vishal) at ₹4,200-4,300. Chana dal (average) quoted at ₹5,200-5,300, chana dal (medium) at ₹5,400-5,500, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,600-5,700 . Compared with last week, chana dal is ruling at ₹200 a quintal lower.
