Prices of edible oils took a breather after rising for the previous two sessions on back of import duty hike amid slack demand. Imported oils such as palmolein and soyabean refined oil were down by ₹2 and ₹5 per 10 kg each. Liberty: palmolein ex Shapur ₹675, super palmolein ₹695, sunflower refined oil ₹750. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased to ₹1,350 (₹1,330) and loose (10 kg) to ₹850 (₹830). BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 880 (880), soya ref. 700 (705), sunflower ref. 735 (735), rapeseed exp. ref. 790 (775), palmolein 643 (645).
