The edible oils market witnessed dull trading on Tuesday with thin volumes in palmolein. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, barring groundnut oil, which rose by ₹5 for 10 kg and rapeseed oil that lost ₹5, all other soft oils ruled steady. Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd quoted ₹515 for Malaysian super palm December delivery. Liberty traded palmolein for ₹480/482, super palmolein ₹502 and soyabean refined oil ₹591. Ruchi was quoting palmolein ₹478, soyabean refined oil ₹588, sunflower refined oil ₹625. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹482, super palmolein ₹507, soyabean refined oil ₹595 and sunflower oil ₹630.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin was up ₹10 at ₹1,330 and loose (10 kg) at ₹850.
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 845 (840), soya refined oil 585 (585), sunflower exp. ref. 565 (565), sunflower ref. 625 (625), rapeseed ref. oil 755 (760), rapeseed expeller ref. 725 (730), cottonseed ref. oil 565 (565) and palmolein 475 (475).
