Edible oils rule weak

Edible oils ruled weak on Monday on back of slack demand amid thin volatility in the futures. Malaysian palm oil and NCDEX soya oil futures show steady trend with minor changes. During the day about 400 tonnes of palmolein was resold at ₹592-597. Demand for indigenous oils was lacking sources said. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹618 for 31 October. Super palmolein ₹640 up to 31October. Allana: Palmolein Ex Khapoli ₹612 for 23 October-25 November. Soya refined oil ₹670 for 1- 25 November. Sunflower refined oil ₹690 for 20 October-25 November. Ruchi: Palmolein ex Patalganga ₹600 for 25 October- 5 November and ₹601for 5-15 November. Soyabean refi. oil ₹660 and sunflower refi. oil ₹688 for October. Golden agri: Palmolein ex JNPT ₹595 for October. At Rajkot: groundnut oil Telia Tin was up at ₹1,410 (₹1,400) and Loose (10 kg) at ₹875 ( ₹875). Arrivals of groundnut in Gondal-Rajkot were 54,000- 55,000 bags and its prices were ₹700-915. Soyabean arrivals in Madhya Pradesh were about one lakh bags and its prices were ex Mandi ₹2,725 – ₹2,850 and ₹2,850-2,950 plant delivery. Malaysian crude palm oil, November -17 ended flat at MYR2,755 (MYR 2,750) and December.17 at ₹2754 ( ₹2749). On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil November-17 was at ₹669.30 (₹669.05) and December.17 at ₹675.50 (₹674.65). On BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 910 (890), soya refined oil 660 (658), sunflower exp. ref. 625 (622), sunflower ref. 685 (685), rapeseed ref. oil 780 (780), rapeseed expeller ref. 750 (750), cottonseed ref. oil 682 (682) and Palmolein 595 (595).
