Jeera futures prices rose by Rs 87 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 16,905 a quintal today as speculators enlarged positions, driven by estimates of low output and diminishing stocks.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Jeera for delivery in June rose by Rs 87 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 16,905 a quintal, with an open interest of 3,483 lots.
