Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Monday. The most active counters RSS 4 and RSS 5 finished unchanged amidst scattered transactions while latex explored further highs on supply concerns. RSS 4 continued to close steady at ₹125 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was quoted flat at ₹122 by dealers. June futures inched up to ₹126.49 (₹126.31), July to ₹128.78 (₹128.62) and August to ₹129.20 (₹129.02) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹118.24 (₹117.78) at Bangkok. May futures closed at ¥212 (₹110.90) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 125(125); RSS-5: 122 (122); Ungraded: 114 (114); ISNR 20: 113.50 (113) and Latex (60% drc): 105 (103).
