Despite weak global cues and slack demand, soya oil ruled firm on weak availability of soya seeds with the crushers. With the farmers getting busy in preparing fields for soya sowing, the supply of soyabean to mandis and plants has declined leading to rise in soya oil prices, said Sanjay Agrawal. Indore (Vippy) ruled at ₹832 for 10 kg, while soya refined Neemuch (MS Solvex) went for ₹813, soya solvent fetched ₹773-80 for 10 kg. Soyabean ruled at ₹3,850-3,900 a quintal. Plant deliveries of soyabean rose to ₹3,975-4,000, while soyameal remained flat at ₹31,500-32,000 a tonne on subdued domestic demand.
