Most metals turned bearish on the non-ferrous metal market on Monday on subdued stockists buying amidst mixed trend at London Metal Exchange (LME). Select copper gained moderately on better demand from consumer industries. Nickel prices declined Rs 5 a kg to Rs 1,330 and copper sheet cutting fell by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 445. Copper armature, brass sheet cutting and aluminium utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 a kg each to Rs 452, Rs 322 and Rs 108 respectively. Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and zinc softened by Re 1 a kg each to Rs 471, Rs 499 and Rs 130. Copper utensils scrap firmed up by Rs 3 a kg to Rs 427 and copper scrap heavy edged up by Rs 2 a kg to Rs 464.
