Edible oils prices on the domestic spot increased despite weak futures and slack demand. Malaysian palm oil futures close lower on fourth consecutive day. On the BCE, groundnut and cotton oil rose by ₹30 and ₹2 per 10 kg each. Palmolein and soya oil were up ₹2 and ₹5 each. Liberty traded palmolein at ₹582, super palmolein ₹593 and soyabean refined oil ₹655. Ruchitraded palmolein for ₹578. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased further to ₹2,050 (2,030) and loose (10 kg) up by ₹25 to ₹1,325. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 1,290 (1,260), soya ref. 650 (645), sunflower exp. ref. 660 (660), sunflower ref. 715 (715), rapeseed ref. 870 (870), rapeseed exp. ref. 840 (840), cottonseed ref. 717 (715) and palmolein 575 (573).
