Jeera future was trade in mixed trend on Thursday. Though good export inquires pushed the jeera in physical market.Trader said that, because of good sowing and favourable weather condition brighten possibility of higer production in next season and due to this March contract decreased in futures trade. on the other side, tight supply and good export demand increased the price in spot and following it, January contract gained. At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) jeera January contract gained by ₹65 to ₹17,585 per quintal, with an open interest of 3,981 lots. NCDEX jeera March contract declined by ₹25 to ₹16,225 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,806 lots. At the Unjha mandi of Gujarat jeera arrival reported about 1,000 bags and price increased by ₹20 to ₹3,300-3,700 per 20 kg. At Rajkot APMC jeera price moved up by ₹15 to ₹3,340-3,650 per 20 kg.
