Spot rubber was in a mixed mood on Monday. RSS 4 was quoted unchanged at ₹126.50 and ₹127 per kg, respectively by traders and the Rubber Board. Meanwhile, RSS 5 and ISNR 20 lost further on buyer resistance. According to observers, there were no buyers for lower grades in the local trading houses. March futures slid to ₹125.45 (125.52) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹123.07 (121.97) at Bangkok. March futures weakened to ₹113.96 (114.99) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) : RSS-4: 126.50 (126.50); RSS-5: 122 (122.50); ISNR 20: 122 (123) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
