Selling pressure continued to pound the spot pepper on Friday. On the terminal market 39 tonnes were traded at ₹520- 535 a kg. Spot prices fell by ₹200 a quintal to close at ₹53,200 (ungarbled) and ₹55,200 (garbled) a quintal. Indian export prices were at $8,800 a tonne c&f for Europe and $9,050 a tonne c&f for the US.
