Barring moong, the majority of pulse seeds either ruled stable or traded low on slack and subdued demand. Moong gained ₹300 at ₹5,800-6,000 a quintal with demand outstripping availability, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,800-5,000 a quintal. The rise in moong also lifted its dal with moong dal (medium) quoted at ₹6,700-6,800 a quintal, moong dal (bold) at ₹6,900-7,100, while moong mongar ruled at ₹7,100-7,200 a quintal respectively.
Tur ruled stable with tur (Maharashtra) quoted at ₹5,400-5,500 a quintal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹4,800-5,100 a quintal. Tur dal (sawa no.) was quoted at ₹6,400-6,500 a quintal, tur dal (full) at ₹6,700-6,800, while tur marka was quoted at ₹7,300-7,500 a quintal respectively.
Slack demand, on the other hand, dragged urad by ₹100 with urad (bold) quoted at ₹5,000, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹3,500-3,800 a quintal. Urad dal also traded low with urad dal (medium) quoted at ₹5,000-5,100, urad dal (bold) at ₹5,200-5,300, while urad (mongar) was quoted at ₹6,500 a quintal.
