Spot rubber lost ground in the absence of genuine buyers . RSS 4 declined to ₹132 (133) a kg according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹131.50 (132) and ₹128.50 (129) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend was mixed.
January futures slid to ₹34.65 (134.98), February to ₹136.24 (136.73), March to ₹138.50 (138.76) and April to ₹139 (139.56) on NMCE. RSS 3 weakened at its January futures to ₹117.91 (118.95)on TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 132 (133); RSS-5: 129 (130); ISNR 20: 116 (116) and Latex (60% drc): 91 (91).
