Spot rubber lost ground on Tuesday. The market fell on buyer resistance reacting to the sharp declines in the domestic and global trendsetters. RSS 4 weakened to ₹154 from 156 and 155 a kg respectively according to traders and the Rubber Board.
The grade quoted lower at ₹151 (₹152) by dealers. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 154 (156); RSS-5: 143 (144); Ungraded: 129 (131); ISNR 20: 134 (135.50) and Latex (60% drc): 98 (99).
