Trading in spot rubber was mixed on Friday. RSS 4 was quoted at ₹130/kg by the Rubber Board. The grade improved to ₹130 (128.50), according to traders. January futures for RSS 4 closed at ₹126.40 (125.95), February at ₹126.95 (126.51) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹107.65 (107.47) a kg at Bangkok. January futures improved to ¥189.3 (₹100.14) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 130 (128.50); RSS-5: 120 (120); Ungraded: 110 (108); ISNR 20: 110 (110) and Latex 60%: 88 (86).
