At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association sales yard the finger turmeric was sold at Rs 5358 to Rs 7800 a quintal. The Root variety was sold at Rs 5039 to Rs 7139 a quintal. Out of 2806 bags of turmeric arrived for sale, 1418 bags were sold.
At the Regulated Marketing Committee the finger turmeric was sold at Rs 6055 to Rs 7199 a quintal root variety was sold at Rs 5691 to Rs 6693 a quintal. Of the arrival of 904 bag of turmeric 594 bags were sold.
At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society the finger turmeric was sold at Rs 6300 to Rs 7099 a quintal, root variety was sold at Rs 5691 to Rs 6859 a quintal. 714 bags of turmeric were placed for sale, of which 498 bags were sold.
