The price of turmeric improved on Wednesday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,034 to ₹8,311 a quintal and root variety at ₹5,684 to ₹7,609 a quintal.
At the Regulated Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,829 to ₹7,969 a quintal and root variety at ₹6,539 to ₹7,503 a quintal. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,871 to ₹8,649 a quintal, while root variety was sold at ₹6,288 to ₹7,866 a quintal.
